Jessica Lynn Herman Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship program supports graduating Seniors from the Huntington Beach High School District. Applications are due by Friday February 7, 2025 at 11:59pm.
The Michael A. Hunter Memorial Scholarship Fund awards annual scholarships to help improve the quality of life for those affected by Leukemia/Lymphoma. The focus of the scholarship is supporting secondary education for Leukemia/Lymphoma patients and survivors and/or children of non-surviving Leukemia/Lymphoma patients. This scholarship is offered nationwide. Applications close on Friday, March 15, 2025 at 11:59pm.
Beyond Borders features students from multiple conservatories in artistic investigation of what it means to be a modern, multi-ethnic American teenager. Combinations of poetry, dance, instrumental music, and native language song will engage the audience in this layered exploration of cultural, personal, and national identity. As part of the event, local nonprofit organizations with a focus on ethnic and/or minority issues have been invited to participate with booths and information before the show.
