OCCF 35th Anniversary Celebration
Thanks to your incredible support, we marked our milestone anniversary with an unforgettable event that showcased 35 years of transformative philanthropic achievements in Orange County, across the country, and around the world. Under the inspiring theme of “35 Years of Growing the Good” and featuring a dynamic keynote by Ambassador Gaddi H. Vasquez, the celebration brought together 750 passionate philanthropists and influential community leaders.
Our annual “Celebration of Giving” brought together Orange County’s philanthropic leaders, donors, and changemakers to inspire charitable giving and explore the evolving landscape of philanthropy. The event’s keynote speaker, Sara Lomelin, CEO of Philanthropy Together, captivated attendees with her presentation on the transformative power of collective giving, which is among the fastest-growing and highest-impact drivers of philanthropy today.

OCCF Celebrates $30 Million Milestone for iheartOC Giving Days
The Orange County Community Foundation (OCCF) has announced that its iheartOC Giving Days have garnered a cumulative $30 million in charitable contributions to fuel the missions of local nonprofits.
Shelley Hoss shared a story with attendees at the Orange County Community Foundation’s annual gathering in 2023, and the CEO moved the crowd with the tale of her family’s longtime connection with a soldier. On Thursday, Hoss topped off the story by introducing that soldier, Army Master Sgt. Daniel Hadder, as a surprise guest at the foundation’s 35th anniversary celebration with a packed ballroom of approximately 750 people at the Hyatt Regency Irvine.
