Dick Metz, a pioneer in the surfing world, helped put legendary spots like Cape St. Francis and Jeffreys Bay on the map. As the former owner of Hobie Sports and Surfline Hawaii, he shaped the surf culture we love today. In 1999, he founded the Surfing Heritage & Culture Center. Today, his legacy endures through his philanthropic work.
